I just installed on my Honda CR-V, only has 3 handles. I used the seatbelt keepers in the back, and the one front seat handle with a backseat handle for the front strap. The configuration fits my car and my rods perfectly. The angled front strap will fit my short 4’6” ultralight rods on 1 side, and my longer rods on the other. Ran some errands with it installed and loaded with 5 rods and it was perfect, when clinched properly there is no sag at all and keeps the rods above my head. Anybody who orders this and can’t get it to work in a car probably can’t even cast a fishing rod anyways...My only complaint is that the roof of my car is too short for my 8 and 9 foot rods, but that is NOT the fault of this product.
